Water Taxi, $5 All Day on/off, stops directly across the street from our hotel, a great way to get around Ft. Lauderdale to other exciting sections of the city.

Las Olas Boulevard, lots of shops and restaurants, plus the additional shops, restaurants and exciting night life of the downtown area at Riverwalk, take the water taxi two miles to either stop, or free weekend shuttle from Beach Place.

 From Ft. Lauderdale International Airport :

Take US1 north to S.E. 17th St. Take S.E. 17th St. east towards the beach. 17th St becomes A1A after you cross the big bridge. Approximately 1-1/2 miles north of the 17th St Bridge, look for Beach Place Mall (Hooters/Lulu’s Bait Shack/Sloppy Joe’s/Fat Tuesday) on your left, 4 blocks after crossing Las Olas Blvd. Continue past Sheraton Hotel to Bayshore Dr. Turn left and go one block to the stop sign at Birch Rd.  Turn left on Birch Rd and Ask Me Inn is two blocks down on the left, on the corner of Seville St. & Birch Rd.

NOTE: Special Events such as Boat Show may make 17th St. too busy. If coming from the airport, you can continue north on US1 about 2 miles to Sunrise Blvd, turn right and head east toward the beach, and follow the Sunrise Blvd directions above.
